Composition Overview:
Genres of music available for purchase currently are neo-classical choral, brass band and multi-instrumental chamber works. For example:
Vocal Score (S,S,S,A,A,A) | Commissioned by 'Voices of Women' 2023, a charity initiative championing works by female composers, 'HER VOICE' was since selected to be performed at 'EMPOWER' 2024, Manchester. Written for soprano and alto voices (S,S,S,A,A,A) with piano accompaniment, 'HER VOICE' also uniquely includes Farrimond's own poetry. | |
Euphonium Solo and Brass Band | Dedicated to 'Prospect Brass' and premiered by 'Chetham's School of Music' brass band, 'Sentiment' showcases the euponium as a solo instrument. The piece was also chosen to be entered into a time capsule in Manchester's St. Peter's Square, commemorating the completion of the Metrolink. | |
Vocal Score (S,S,A,A,T,T,B) | Winner of Chetham's School of Music's Biennial Carol Competition (2016), Farrimond's unnaccompanied choral piece (S,S,A,A,T,T,B)Â recieved it's premiere in Manchester Cathedral. The piece was also featured on BBC Primetime television, 'Christmas City'Â (2016). |
Musical Arrangements:
Alongside own musical compositions, Lucy has arranged various works for both vocalists and instrumentalists. Most recently, her arrangement of Piaf/Guglielmi's 'La vie en rose' for soprano, flute and piano, was published on 'Sheet Music Plus', 'Note Flight' and 'Muse Score Pro'. This arrangement was also performed in Manchester's 'Stoller Hall' for the 'Manchester Chamber Concerts Society' series in March, 2024.
Chamber Score (Soprano, Flute, Piano) | This virtuosic arrangement for soprano voice, flute and piano, showcases Piaf/Guglielmi's beloved tune whilst highlighting the impressive skillsets of each performer. |

Obtaining scores via the 'SHOP' page is simple! Upon selecting and purchasing your desired score, a virtual pdf file will be sent to you via email.
Within the product descriptions on the 'SHOP' page, you can find the total number of copies permitted to be made with each purchase licence.
For copies on a larger scale (eg. for choirs and orchestras) - do get in touch via the contact page to discuss possible bulk discounts.
